Pagani has returned to the United States after the succesfull introduction of the brand and its latest sports car, the Pagani Huayra in August 2011. Named after an ancient god of wind, the Huayra marks the first car Pagani Automobili is bringing to the United States. With the process of EPA and CARB certification on track, US customers will be able to enjoy the Pagani ownership experience from June 2013.
Given the overwhelming reception in 2012, Pagani Automobili wanted to further emphasise the importance the US market has for its strategic plans with an even stronger presenca compared to 2011.

At Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival, a unique event where aerospace technology of the latest corporate jets meets the aerospace derived technolgoy applied to the Pagani Huayra, the a selected crowd could examine the advanced active aerodynamics with four computer controlled aerodynamic surfaces, balancing the Huayra in every driving condition and optimizing the drag coefficient for aerodynamic efficiency to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

A red Pagani Huayra was the star at this years Concorso Italiano at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch. The Huayra was accompanied by its creator, Horacio Pagani, chief designer at Pagani Automobili, who said: “With such an amazing array of Italian vehicles in an event celebrating Italian style, art and fashion, the Pagani Huayra has found a great place for this year’s Monterey car weekend celebration.”

The presence of Pagani at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering marks the return to this prestigeous event. For the attending journalists, influencial car enthusiasts and industry executives this is further reassurance of Pagani’s US plans.
